Barcelona is famous for its buildings designed by Gaudi. He has a highly individualistic style and some rather bizarre creations scattered throughout the city. It can be quite expensive and time consuming to go to them all, so visited a select few: La Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, La Pedrera, and Casa Batllo (from the outside).
La Sagrada Familia
This is my favorite cathedral that I've ever been to. Just look at those awe-inspiring cavernous ceilings!
I'm not sure why most pictures show the other, old-fashioned
side of the building, because this side is much prettier.
It's such a modern building with an abundance of natural lighting, unlike most
other cathedrals where I feel as as if I've walked into well-decorated dungeon.
Doesn't this look like it's from a sci-fi movie?
Not to mention all the cool statues at the entrance, all cut in a contemporary fashion.
